What Have I Been Reading Lately?

Hello!

It has been a while since I last posted and so I just wanted to provide a quick catch up! Even with all the craziness in the world right now I work from home so not that much has actually changed for me although I can't leave the house. Working from home means I stare at my laptop all day and it is making me lose motivation to update my blog which is why I haven't posted a lot recently :(.

One good thing about isolation is that it gives everyone more time to read, right? I'm actually way ahead of my Goodreads challenge on 21 books read out of my goal of 60! I'm already a third of the way there and I can definitely thank isolation for this steep increase in my reading!

I am currently buddy reading the whole House of Night series by P.C and Kristin Cast and even though these books are pretty average I still need to finish the series to find out how it ends! We have 3 novels and 3 novellas left to read and I can't wait to get to the end of it.

I have also been catching up on some of my Netgalley reads:

The Henna Wars by Adiba Jaigirdar was so good and cute!

Hold Your Tongue by Deborah Masson was a detective thriller that kept me guessing till the very end.

How is isolation treating you?
Is it helping or hindering your Goodreads challenge?
Let me know in the comments!

  1. I have so many books on my TBR list, so I'm using isolation to try and make my way through them all. I've read 21 books this year and my Goodreads goal is 30, so I think I'll easily reach it!

  3. I love that I have been able to escape into books during this isolation. I am way ahead in my Goodreads challenge! But there are so many books I want to read...
